The Future is Kind: 2016 & 2017

2016 was an amazing year for The Kind Group, with all four of our companies growing and developing.

Kind Financial Services increased levels of business, with three new Advisers joining the team and building relationships with a wide portfolio of financial services organisations. The mortgage market has been robust, we kept a good pace across the year and kept our activity high and I believe we can maintain these levels across 2017. We are looking to add more people to the Financial Services team as we continue building lasting relationships with our lenders, and using our whole-of-market remit to find our customers the best possible deals.

Over in Kind Consultancy, we added 5 new Consultants, operating across Governance Risk & Compliance, Banking & Financial Services and the, we’ve greatly expanded our interim division , and made more international placements than ever before, while continuing to provide top tier permanent talent to organisations across the UK. We’ve started the year by adding a new, experienced consultant to lead our Information Security and Tech Risk team, we’ve made agreements with multiple, large, market leading organisations to provide them with specialist interim talent across 2017 and we’re looking to grow further with the addition of more Governance, Risk & Compliance specialists.

Kind Wealth gained 3 new team members, launched a greatly improved new website, held successful networking events and had success across the year helping SME’s with Auto Enrolment and assisting many High Net Worth Individuals with their advice and investment needs. Wealth is looking for more Financial Advisers who want to be part of a growing team and to support our ever growing client bank in 2017.

2016 was the first full operating year for the newest member of the family, Kind Commercial, and they hit the ground running with huge increases in activity in the Bridging and Development Finance space and a consistently high level of Commercial Mortgage inquiries. Since the start of 2016, Commercial has added two new team members who will help as we develop our offering further this year, and continue our commitment to providing exceptional customer service while turning around deals much faster than our competitors can.

The whole Kind Group relocated to our new base on Waterloo Street in the centre of Birmingham, a much bigger office that gives all four divisions room to work, meet and grow. All of our teams are looking to expand further this year, and you’ll soon see new websites with a unified appearance and greater functionality for the whole group.

As we close the door on 2016 and look out at the year ahead full of potential, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the fantastic people in all four Kind organisations who made last year so successful l and who are already working hard to do it again in 2017.
