Retail Banking: Revolution & Evolution

There’s a lot to be excited about in Retail Banking in 2015. Traditional high street banks are finally starting to adjust and change to keep up with the needs and desires of their customers, while more and more new banks are being licensed and presenting an ever-widening range of alternatives. With everyone trying to come up with the most convenient possible solutions, it feels like there’s a lot more competition in the Retail Banking market than there has been in a long time, with consumer’s needs leading the way.

I worked for Nationwide Building Society for over three years as a personal banking manager, so I know the Retail Banking environment well and have seen the beginnings of these changes first hand. Along the way I’ve gained a significant bank of experience that I’ll be drawing on as Kind’s new dedicated Retail Banking specialist, handling any and all front-office roles where customer interaction is key.
