Kind Consultancy is proud to announce that we’re sponsoring rising triathlete Ian Dempsey.
After many years with his feet up, Ian started running in 2008 in an effort to improve his health and soon found himself taking on 10Ks, half and full marathons. A friend invited him to join the ICAN Marbella Half Ironman and after six hours of cycling, swimming and running Ian was hooked on triathlons. Now just a few years in to his sporting career, he’s represented Great Britain at global events, finishing sixth at the World Triathlon Finals last year, and he’s going from strength to strength with recent first place age group or overall finishes at:
- Staffordshire Iron Man (where he was the highest placing non-professional)
- Warwickshire Sprint Triathlon
- City of Birmingham 10K
- City of Birmingham Triathlon
- Jodie Stimpson Aquathlon.
Ian’s recently been awarded his pro-licence and his upcoming events include the Tri Liverpool Triathlon on July 26th and the AJ Bell London Triathlon on the 8th/9th of August and the next time you see him crossing a finish line, he’ll be doing it with a Kind logo across his chest.
