Kind Consultancy is working with a well-established Financial Services business which is now seeking a Telephone Business Development Manager to join their Intermediary Sales Team. A flexible role requiring some travel to their office in Nottinghamshire, the Telephone BDM role will focus on promoting the mortgage offering to intermediaries, with key responsibilities including:

  • Promoting the business’s mortgage products and policies to intermediaries via telephone and e-mail
  • Assisting and supporting underwriting enquiries for potential new applications using the online mortgage application system
  • Converting as many approved mortgage enquiries into mortgage applications as possible, supporting applications through to offer
  • Making and presenting cases to the Mortgage Referral Committee where appropriate
  • Maintaining up to date awareness of competitors’ products and services, and of market and introducer trends

Our ideal candidate for the Telephone Business Development Manager opportunity:

  • Has excellent knowledge of Mortgages and experience of the Mortgage intermediary market
  • Has very strong communication skills and a track record of utilising these to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Is highly organised and able to prioritise their own work
  • Is IT literate and a confident user of MS Office software, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Has at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including Maths and English
  • Holding CeMAP would be highly desirable
