Kind Consultancy is working with a large, multi-disciplinary Financial Services business which is now seeking an experienced SSAS Pension Administrator to join them on a twelve-month contract working from home with some travel to their London office.

The contractor will focus on administering a portfolio of SSAS Pension Schemes, with key responsibilities including:

  • Handling technical client issues
  • Attending meetings with existing SSAS clients and their professional advisers
  • Aiding in SSAS property purchases and sales, and ongoing property management
  • Processing Loanbacks and investments in Private Company Shares
  • Completing Pension Scheme Returns, Event Reports and quarterly returns
  • Liaising with the Pensions Regulator and the Information Commissioner and completing their respective annual returns
  • Carrying out benefit calculations and arranging payments
  • Coaching and training junior staff on role-specific tasks, checking calculations, assigning work and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Collaborating with the Head of SSAS Consultancy & Administration to resolve technical HMRC queries relating to complex cases

For the SSAS Pension Administrator contract, we’re looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a proven background in SSAS Pension Administration, with extensive SSAS Pension knowledge developed while working for SSAS/SIPP pension providers
  • Has experience of SSAS-Pro software
  • Is an excellent communicator in writing and speech
  • Is highly organised, self-motivated and can balance independent work with an awareness of when to seek advice and support
  • Lives in commutable distance of London
