Kind Consultancy is working with a leading international bank that is now seeking multiple Senior Third-Party Risk Specialists to join them on a home-based six-month contract, paying £750 per day via umbrella.

The Senior Third-Party Risk Specialist is responsible for evolving the TPM (Third-Party Management) operating model, ensuring efficient and effective execution. You will define and manage the strategic change initiatives portfolio, writing policies and frameworks, conducting strategic planning and designing processes. You will define the TPM knowledge and skillset, and design training materials, with other key responsibilities including:

  • Working with the Group Transformation division to implement changes to TPM processes, tools and technology across multiple regions, including designing and delivering comms material, training and upskilling
  • Leading change impact assessments prior to TPM process, tool and technology changes
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of market trends (e.g. emerging digital technology), and attending TPM Banking roundtables, utilising insights to ensure continuous improvement
  • Designing strategic change initiatives aimed to improve TPM execution and manage a portfolio of initiatives
  • Helping to define the TPM knowledge & skillset across the TPM sphere (TPM, business, and Delivery Hub) and supporting global role-based training materials for delivery

Our ideal candidate for the Senior Third-Party Risk Specialist contract:

  • Has a track record of successful Third-Party Management leadership and can demonstrate effective leadership skills with stakeholders, having previously developed, communicated and promoted the purpose, values and vision of improved procurement and supply chain management across an organisation and with suppliers
  • Has deep knowledge of risk relating to TPM developed during previous experience of managing Regulatory Risk, Operational Risk, Third-Party Risk and Operational Resilience
  • Understands contracts lifecycle management, from planning and creation to execution and management
  • Is able to distinguish when to and when not to use contracts
  • Can draft contracts and knows how to work with Legal, tracking execution and initiates sourcing prior to exp
  • Is able to develop contracts that include defined mechanisms to realize negotiated value that aligns company needs and business requirements while mitigating risk to the company
  • Has experience of defining strategy and leading projects for very large organisations, ideally involving multiple territories
  • Is an extremely confident communicator with highly polished presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior management up to and including Global C-Suite
