Kind Consultancy is exclusively supporting an international firm’s FCA regulated subsidiary with the expansion of their compliance team. Our client is well established and long successful, with worldwide business operations in over 100 countries.

As part of this recruitment, we are looking for two Compliance Officers to join them in a full-time, permanent role based in their Northamptonshire office.

Your role will support the Head of UK Regulatory Compliance and the overall Compliance team to deliver the Compliance Monitoring Plan. You will play a key role in the delivery and development of the compliance assurance activities within the business, as well as monitoring and reviewing upcoming changes in the regulatory environment to ensure the business is remaining compliant with FCA regulations.

As well as this, you will assist the Head of UK Regulatory Compliance with writing policies and procedures and the deliver of key information to management and employees.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring up to date knowledge with all key regulatory developments (FCA, Data Protection, Financial Crime) and providing monthly, or as required, Horizon Scans to the relevant business units.
• Ensure that the firm can respond in a timely basis to requests for information from the FCA or other regulatory bodies.
• Assist with the planning and timely delivery of the compliance assurance activities.
• Assist with the production and monitoring of the compliance plans.
• Annual review of policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance against regulatory obligations.
• Assist in construction and delivery of compliance regulatory training programme, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
• Develop and maintain a strong operational knowledge of all business units within the UK including the franchise model and operation.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, all appropriate regulatory bodies and other relevant third parties (e.g., external advisors) as required.
• Help to ensure any subject access requests or data protection rights enquiries are managed in accordance with applicable requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• For this role, we are looking for experienced Compliance or Senior Quality Assurance professionals with at least 5 years of experience in an FCA regulated environment. Ideally this will be within Consumer Credit, but we are open to other workstream experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet regulatory deadlines.
